    Ancestor worship is an important part of Chinese culture. To help keep this tradition alive, Department of Civil Affairs,Taipei City Government organizes annual ancestor worship activities at the Lin An Tai Residence. Members of the Lin clan are invited to participate in these activities to consolidate this clan and to provide a reference for the public of ancestor worship traditions and practices.

    Regulations Governing Participation in Taipei City's Joint Wedding Ceremony

    Article 1 The Taipei City Government (henceforth referred to as “the Government”) has accordingly set forth the following regulations in order to improve the morale of society and promote cost-saving weddings by organizing outstanding joint wedding ceremonies.

    Article 2 Couples applying to participate in Taipei City's (henceforth referred to as the “City”) Joint Wedding Ceremony(henceforth referred to as the “Wedding Ceremony”) shall be in compliance with the marriage articles of the Civil Law or the relevant regulations and one of each couple shall be the City citizen or work or attend school in City. All participants shall go by the following during the registration period :
    1. enclose the relevant documents apply in person at the City Administration Office.
    2. mail the relevant documents to the Department of Civil Affairs, Taipei City Government (henceforth referred to as the “ Department of Civil Affairs”) or register on the website, then mail the relevant documents to Department of Civil Affairs.
