Gambian Officials Visit Daan District Office

The staff at Daan District Household Registration Office received two distinguished guests form the Republic of Gambia on August 12. Citizen Call Center to be Upgraded

The Research, Development, and Evaluation Commission (RDEC) presented a report on the upgrading of the 1999 Citizen Call Center before Mayor Hau Lung-bin on May 7. The mayor instructed the agency to strengthen the center, allowing concerns from residents to be handled in an effective and prompt manner. (more...)
New Voting Regulation
-- January 9, 2008 --
A new regulation will be instituted for this elections-- no election campaigning of any kind will be permitted within 30 meters of any polling station. Violators can expect to be fined up to NT$15,000 and could face up to one year in jail.
