Neihu Line’s First Trial Run

In common with its predecessor, the Muzha line, the Neihu line will be a driverless medium-capacity system. Connecting to the Muzha line, the Neihu line will allow passengers to travel on the Muzha line and throughout the Neihu line and vice versa without transfer. Thus, the testing of system-wide electrical and mechanical systems, such as EMU running tests, is a critical task.

The advantages of such facilities are the reduction of maintenance manholes, accurate positioning of manholes, one-time relocation, and less excavation and repair. It helps keep roads smoother.
